YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Transport Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining transport files from order receipt through to final delivery
  • Receiving and processing transport orders from customers within your assigned countries and regions
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and addressing transport-related inquiries
  • Ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal departments to deliver tailored solutions and an excellent customer experience
  • Coordinating and monitoring shipments from collection through to final delivery, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and timely execution
  • Building and maintaining relationships with carriers, partners, and international correspondents
  • Negotiating and arranging suitable transport solutions in cooperation with transport providers
  • Monitoring transport costs and revenues, ensuring accurate trip closing and profitability control
  • Handling and verifying transport-related documentation received from customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and international partners
  • Preparing and managing all required transport and customs documentation in accordance with operational requirements
  • Supporting commercial activities by facilitating customer visits and contributing to strong customer relationships
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvements and proactively contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence

YOUR PROFILE

  • More than two years’ experience in the transport sector, organisational skills and a solution-oriented attitude that ensures efficient transport
  • Intermediate and/or higher degree in logistics, transport or international trade
  • Knowledge of Spanish, Catalan and French or English
  • As a key figure in this process, you show up when the situation demands it and dare to make decisions
  • You will manage unforeseen events while remaining calm and, with powerful and clear communication, you manage to motivate the parties involved to reach the right solution together
  • Efficient, cost-conscious planning is second nature
