YOUR CHALLENGES

As Head of Sales Packed Transport, you will be responsible for achieving sustainable and profitable long-term growth of the various Business Units within the packed transport organization. This through the management and development of existing and new clients, and the development of new services and products for these clients within a European context. 

What this means specifically:

  • Together with the management, you develop and implement a long-term commercial vision
  • You further develop the sales strategy with the aim of increasing the share of the portfolio within the existing customer base, as well as expanding the portfolio with new customers, resulting in an increase of the overall market share
  • You manage the account management of the packed transportation customers and ensure a unified approach to increase performance for the customers and grow the existing business
  • Self-negotiating key contracts and pricing with clients is also within your scope. This with the aim of driving national and international sales
  • Within this role it is essential to develop both vertical and horizontal relationships, both internally and externally
  • You lead a team of Key Account Managers and Sales Executives whom you know how to motivate and lift to a higher level
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the margin and results of your department

YOUR TALENTS

  • You have a Master level of thinking and experience in a senior management position
  • People management is right up your street
  • You are very strong in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Expertise in the transportation sector is essential to be successful in this role
  • Conceptual thinking is totally your thing
  • Achieving results with attention to risk and quality is what you go for
  • Clear communication at all levels in Dutch and English is evident to you
