As a Senior Manager Warehouse Engineering, you will take ultimate responsibility for all warehouse-related projects within our organization. Whether it involves new clients, existing operations, or strategic changes, together with your team of engineers, you ensure successful execution from A to Z.

The focus is on Belgium and the Netherlands, but your expertise can also be applied internationally within our European warehouse landscape.

You combine people management with substantive expertise: you take the lead in complex and strategic projects and ensure sustainable impact.

What does this mean concretely:

Department Management

  • You lead a team of (Senior) Project and Process Engineers
  • You ensure the qualitative and timely delivery of projects in the areas of:
    • Implementation of new operations
    • Integration of acquisitions
    • Transformation and change processes
  • You develop the capabilities and expertise of the team

Project Management & Implementation

  • You manage a portfolio of growth projects where systems, processes, organization, and infrastructure seamlessly come together
  • You determine the optimal project approach with a focus on sustainable implementation and continuous improvement
  • You independently lead large-scale, complex implementations
  • You participate in the steering committee governance of strategic projects and step in as a change manager in case of deviations
  • You maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Process Excellence

  • You advise clients and internal stakeholders (Business Unit Managers, Directors, and COO Warehousing) on how operations can be more efficient, better, and more sustainable
  • You translate these advices into practice and guide change and transformation projects
  • You ensure improvements with the right governance and focus on three domains:
    • Enterprise-Wide Standardization
    • Business Redesign
    • Automation & Robotization

YOUR TALENTS

  • You have a Master’s degree, supplemented with at least 10 years of relevant project experience within a logistics environment or supply chain
  • Leadership experience and the ability to inspire and lead a team is a core quality
  • Additionally, you have strategic insight and a hands-on mentality
  • Your critical and analytical way of thinking is combined with a love for data
  • Moreover, you have a strong understanding of logistics concepts and automation
  • With your well-developed helicopter view, you always manage to keep an overview
  • Your strong communication skills, diplomatic skills, and persuasiveness make you the bridge builder we are looking for to realize our projects
