YOUR CHALLENGES
As Senior Manager Process Excellence Warehousing, you are ultimately responsible for the strategic and large-scale process improvement projects within warehousing for all our warehouses in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Your role goes beyond just coordinating as department manager, you are responsible for an extensive portfolio of automation and optimization projects that are led from A to Z by you and your team. These projects aim to make our customers’ supply chain processes more efficient, simpler and more profitable.
In addition, you actively take the lead in several large projects as an experienced project leader, using your expertise and vision to achieve tangible improvements.
The projects within your scope focus on three core areas: Business Process Standardization, Business Process Redesign and Automation & Robotization.
What this means specifically:
• Based on a thorough needs analysis, you will look for the most appropriate solutions and optimizations. For this you work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders
• You then develop these projects further with a view to successful implementation
• In each project phase you are the point of contact, where you always keep an eye on timing, scope and budget
• During the delivery of the project, you transfer your know-how and acquired expertise of the new procedures and work rules to the operational stakeholders through training sessions. You support our operations in the development and validation of the new procedures and work instructions. Where necessary, you assist in the training of operations
• After delivery of the project, you continue to provide support where needed
• Finally, you manage a team of process and senior process engineers and always keep an overview of the projects
YOUR TALENTS
• You have a master’s degree, complemented with at least 10 years of relevant project experience within a logistics environment
• Your critical and analytical way of thinking is combined with a passion for data
• Moreover, you have a strong insight into logistics concepts and automation
• With your well-developed helicopter view, you always know how to keep the overview
• Your strong communication skills, diplomatic skills and persuasiveness make you the bridge builder we are looking for to further improve our processes.
