As a Process Engineer, you are the driving force behind optimization and transformation projects within our transport activities. You combine project management with a hands-on approach: you not only coordinate but also dive into the processes yourself to achieve sustainable improvements together with the project engineers.
What does this mean in concrete terms:
- Based on a thorough needs analysis of the internal or external customer, you look for the most appropriate solutions/optimization
- You clearly map out existing processes (AS IS), define the desired situation (TO BE) and detect the gaps
- You then translate these insights into projects, which you further develop with successful implementation in mind
- In every project phase, you are the point of contact for the customer, where you watch over timing, scope and budget
- Finally, you transfer your know-how and acquired expertise about the new procedures and work instructions to the operational stakeholders through training moments
