Business Analyst | Genk
Are you ready to further develop your experience in business analysis within a logistics environment? Discover below the challenges and rewards that come with the role of WMS Business Analyst at H.Essers.
YOUR CHALLENGES
As a Business Analyst WMS, you will be part of an enthusiastic and driven team responsible for the smooth implementation of new clients or functionalities within the H.Essers IT platform. You act as a link between the client, the operational teams within H.Essers and the technical team. Together, you will build solutions within the in-house developed Warehouse Management System (WMS) and contribute ideas on the future of our applications.
H.Essers is a fast-growing company with various branches at home and abroad. This means that the IT landscape is constantly evolving and our systems must grow alongside it to support the business. For example, you will contribute to the development and roll-out of the new cloud-based warehouse management system using the latest methodologies, so that we can support our warehouse operations even better. Process-oriented thinking, stakeholder management and change management are the keys to success in this regard.
What will you be doing concretely?
- You will lead WMS implementations for (new) clients from start to finish: from initial consultation and workshops through to configuration, testing, go-live and post-implementation support.
- With your inquisitive and analytical mindset, you will be able to clearly identify the needs of the client and their operations.
- You strive to align the wishes of clients and end-users, business objectives and technical capabilities, thereby delivering comprehensive, stable and future-proof solutions
- You maintain a fast pace and keep the scope focused: you monitor planning, workload and budget, identify risks early on and ensure that stakeholders know where they stand at all times.
- In addition to client projects, you’ll help shape the future of the WMS: you’ll design solutions that are scalable, modular and reusable to support the company’s growth ambitions.
- As a seasoned analyst, you’ll be able to mentor your less experienced colleagues and teach them the tricks of the trade
- You take the initiative and act in a goal-oriented manner to achieve both your own objectives and those of the various IT teams, and you adjust your schedule and tasks in line with changing circumstances
- You spot connections in existing data that are not immediately obvious, thereby challenging traditional ways of thinking
- With your knowledge of project management, you ensure projects run smoothly and know how to bring them to a successful conclusion on time.
In summary, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in H.Essers’ continued growth by getting to grips with strategic, diverse and challenging projects, both internally and for clients. In doing so, you will utilise state-of-the-art technologies and well-designed Enterprise Architecture. You will join a young and dynamic Business Analysts team where you will play a crucial role in the team’s continued growth. Close collaboration with key figures at various levels of the organisation ensures that you can make an impact and leave your mark.
