YOUR CHALLENGES

As a Transport Planner, you ensure that the planning of our Terberg drivers runs smoothly. With more than 13 warehouses and one container terminal, it is crucial that drivers are at the right location at the right time with the right container or trailer. You ensure that the needs of the warehouse are perfectly aligned with the planning, so that downtime is minimized and processes continue to run optimally.

What will you do?

  • Managing and coordinating our Terberg drivers;
  • Drawing up and monitoring an efficient transport planning;
  • Continuous optimization of transport flows to prevent stagnation;
  • Participate in consultations with our software supplier and contribute to further optimization;
  • Propagating working methods to the warehouses and giving clear instructions;
  • Monitoring whether drivers have the right papers, certifications and skills;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.

Who are you?

  • You have experience in transport planning, logistics or warehousing;
  • You are a strong communicator and switch easily with different stakeholders;
  • You have a proactive and solution-oriented attitude;
  • You work in a structured way and maintain an overview, even under pressure;
  • Experience with planning software (preferably Cofano) is an advantage.
