YOUR CHALLENGES
As Manager IT Infrastructure, reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you are responsible for running and managing the IT Infrastructure. While your colleague manages the team of system engineers, you, as Manager, are the point of contact for the team of network engineers.
What do you do specifically?
- You develop and implement a strategy for the IT infrastructure that aligns with the company’s objectives.
- You lead a team of IT professionals, including network administrators and system administrators. You coordinate tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure efficient work processes.
- You are responsible for the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure improvements. This includes evaluating new systems, hardware, and software, and ensuring smooth integration into the existing infrastructure.
- You ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing security protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing a security policy.
- You are responsible for preparing and managing the budget for IT infrastructure, including cost estimates, expense control, and identifying cost-effective solutions.
- You coordinate support for infrastructure issues, escalations, and ensure that problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
- You create reports on the performance of the IT infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
YOUR TALENTS
- The ability to manage change, as IT landscapes are constantly evolving.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to new technologies and changing organizational needs are very important.
- Significant experience in IT management and operations, preferably in progressive roles such as system administrator, network administrator, or similar positions.
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential. The ability to lead, motivate, delegate, and coach teams is crucial.
