YOUR CHALLENGES

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a key figure within our Software Engineering Team. You’ll combine technical depth with a broad overview and strategic direction, whilst ensuring the quality and coherence of our applications.

You will work closely with other software engineers, business analysts and stakeholders, contribute ideas for structural solutions and ensure that new initiatives fit within a sustainable architectural vision.

In concrete terms, this means:

  • Technical development: You will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing applications within our IBMi platform. Knowledge of Java is an advantage.
  • You will help build our transport applications within the Java ecosystem.
  • You will take the lead in planning poker sessions, technical analyses, design work and reviews.
  • You will play a key role in the transition to the RockIT platform.
  • You will support the team with complex technical issues and make informed decisions in consultation with the architects.
  • You will actively contribute to knowledge sharing and technical maturity within the team.

You will work in a modern environment using technologies such as Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, DDD, DB2/Postgres, Azure, Event-Driven Architectures and React.

  • You have extensive experience in Java development and software architecture.
  • You think in terms of solutions, maintain a clear overview and are not afraid to take the lead.
  • You take responsibility and draw energy from supporting other engineers.
  • You are a good communicator and have experience in stakeholder management
