YOUR CHALLENGES

As Team Manager Planning in our pharmaceutical transport division in Denmark, you are responsible for both our Planning Team and a group of professional drivers. You ensure that daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and according to GDP and quality standards.

You are as much a part of the team as you are leading it — meaning you spend a significant part of your time working alongside the planners in day‑to‑day operations, supporting them in transport planning, customer interactions, driver coordination and ensuring service excellence.

You take ownership of operational performance while guiding your team, securing stability, efficiency and continuous improvement, while maintaining an uncompromising focus on quality, traceability, documentation, temperature control, and compliance.

What does this mean concretely:

  • Run and support daily planning operations, including fleet coordination and execution of daily lane planning
  • Lead, coordinate and support Planners, Driver Mentors and Drivers, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are aligned and clear
  • Secure excellent customer support together with the planning team (customer communication, issue handling, follow‑up). Act as a point for contact for issue resolution with the customers.
  • Maintain structure in daily operations and ensure compliance with all internal processes and GDP requirements, while seeking continuous improvements in efficiency, quality and reliability
  • Follow up on operational KPIs and planning performance, including leave planning, resource allocation and driver availability

  • Proficiency in Danish and English is a requirement
