YOUR CHALLENGES

As Senior Manager Healthcare LLP, you are responsible for the complete operational, financial, and strategic management of our Healthcare 4PL activities. You lead a growing organization that orchestrates logistics chains for several leading healthcare companies.

You combine vision with decisiveness and manage a multidisciplinary team within order entry, forwarding & customer care, invoicing, and carrier management. In addition, you are the owner of the P&L, manage KPIs, and contribute to the further commercial development and professionalization of the LLP concept within H.Essers.

 

What do you do specifically?

Strategic & organizational leadership

  • You guarantee the continuity, quality, and performance of the entire LLP Healthcare organization.
  • You develop and implement improvement programs in the areas of processes, quality, digitalization, and customer satisfaction.
  • You ensure an optimal organizational structure that supports scalability, efficiency, and growth.
  • You cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer focus.

Business development & customer relations

  • You work closely with our Solutions team to develop innovative 4PL solutions for both existing and new clients.
  • You act as a strategic point of contact for key accounts within the Healthcare sector.
  • You build strong, lasting relationships with clients and carriers, based on quality, transparency, and partnership.
  • You take the lead in contract negotiations, SLAs, and commercial processes.

Operational excellence

  • You manage the day-to-day operations for road, sea, and air transport in a regulated Healthcare environment.
  • You ensure compliance with GDP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards within Healthcare logistics.
  • You monitor performance, analyze data, and initiate improvement actions around efficiency, cost optimization, and service levels.
  • You take ownership of customer governance and prepare SBR, QBR, and MBRs, including analytical input, KPI reporting, and improvement proposals.

Financial management

  • You are ultimately responsible for the P&L of the Healthcare 4PL unit.
  • You manage budgets, forecasts, cost structures, and invoicing processes.
  • You make data-driven decisions based on thorough financial and operational analyses.

People leadership

  • You motivate, inspire, and coach your team members in their professional growth.
  • You ensure clear objectives, clear communication, and a safe, positive work environment.
  • You take a role model position in leadership, decision-making, and collaboration with other departments.

YOUR TALENTS

  • You possess a master’s level of thinking.
  • You have extensive experience in leading and developing teams.
  • You have proven expertise in logistics, with practical knowledge of road, sea, and air transport.
  • Experience within Healthcare, 4PL, or complex supply chain environments is a strong asset.
  • You master different communication styles, allowing you to switch easily between clients, carriers, internal stakeholders, and your own team.
  • You possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • You operate from a helicopter view, without losing sight of operational details.
  • You are proficient in data analysis and KPI management; you excel in Excel/PowerBi and PowerPoint.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
  • You are results-oriented, stress-resistant, and have a natural drive to make things better and smarter.
