As a Devops Engineer, you are part of the IT Infrastructure team and are responsible for maintaining the DevOps environment. 

Specifically, we mean:

  • Working closely with the Developers and implementing their needs taking into account the values of IT infrastructure (security, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery and so on)
  • Life-cycle management: ensuring a best-practice approach so that the DevOps environment is always up to date, both the OS and Kubernetes and all underlying layers
  • Securing our systems and associated data from outside use and breaches
  • Proactively thinking about improvements and optimisations of the current infrastructure: formulating proposals and then working out and implementing them independently
  • As owner of your systems, closely monitor market developments and critically approach them in function of the current infrastructure: your recommendations are welcome


  • 4 years of experience in a similar role as a DevOps expert
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solution-oriented approach to complex issues

  • Project-based & positive mindset

Furthermore, you excel in one or more knowledge domains (certification is a plus):

  • Thorough Linux and GIT knowledge (Windows is a bonus)
  • Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible, Bicep,…
  • Building and maintaining Kubernetes environments (Rancher)
  • Automation: Powershell, bash, Jenkins pipelines, Github Actions, Azure Devops …
  • Understanding and implementing high availability, scalable, secure concepts
  • Monitoring: Prometheus/Grafana and correctly interpret and process these alerts/events/dashboards
  • Good knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, Flux, Docker, event-driven systems, …
  • You find your way around on-premise environments well and also have experience with cloud (Azure)
