YOUR CHALLENGES

As a Business Analyst WMS, you will be part of an enthusiastic and driven team responsible for the smooth implementation of new customers or functionalities in the H.Essers IT platform. You are a connecting link between the customer, the operational teams within H.Essers and the technical support staff. Together, you build solutions in the in-house developed Warehouse Management System (WMS) and contribute ideas about the future of our applications.

H.Essers is a fast-growing company with various branches in Belgium and abroad. This means that the IT landscape is constantly evolving and our systems must grow with it in order to support the business. For example, you will contribute to the development and roll-out of the new cloud-based warehouse management system according to the latest methodologies, so that we can support our warehouse operations even better. Process-oriented thinking, stakeholder management and change management are the keys to success here.

What will you be doing specifically?

  • You are responsible for the successful implementation of new customers. You guide them through the entire process from A to Z, always providing a tailor-made solution within our own WMS system.
  • Through workshops, you identify the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders in order to arrive at a thorough analysis of the logistics flows. You translate these into clear requirements for the WMS system.
  • You then keep the customer informed of the further progress of the project based on the project plan and monitor your workload, costs and scope.
  • In addition to customer projects, you will also work structurally on the further expansion of the WMS system. You will design solutions to support the company’s growth ambitions, while monitoring reusability and modularity.
  • From the business side, you will identify strategic segments and help build these new processes.

YOUR TALENTS

  • You have a keen interest in supply chain and are determined to become a key player in this field in the long term.
  • Thanks to your strong work experience as an Analyst, you are able to think conceptually and make proposals with a critical eye.
  • You also have a master’s degree in economics, preferably logistics, or a similar background based on experience.
  • You are results-oriented, with an eye for risks and quality.
  • You enjoy variety, working independently and teamwork, and are eager to share interesting ideas with the business or fellow IT professionals.
  • You can communicate fluently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, at various levels, in both Dutch and English.
