YOUR CHALLENGES
As an Application Support Engineer, you ensure optimal performance of software and client equipment. You provide technical support to end users, resolve incidents quickly and efficiently, and contribute to a stable IT environment.
What will you do specifically?
- Incident Management: Registering, analyzing, and solving hardware, software, and network issues. Handling support tickets within SLAs (Jira experience is a plus).
- Software: Supporting and managing our internal Transport Management System (TMS) once you are trained in-house. In addition to TMS, you provide support for other enterprise applications such as Bizzmine, Workday, Nicelabel, SAP, and others.
- User Support: First-line support and advice on best practices.
- Documentation: Recording knowledge and solutions in the internal Knowledge Base.
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring security guidelines are followed and contributing ideas to optimize security.
- Collaboration: Escalating complex problems and working with other IT teams.
YOUR TALENTS
- You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft software such as Windows and Office. Additionally, you understand networks and have basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. You are familiar with tools and systems like Active Directory and work effortlessly with ticketing systems (ITIL).
- Analytical and problem-solving, you excel at breaking down problems and take a proactive approach (monitoring).
- Furthermore, you are communicatively strong and can explain technical matters simply to end users. Service-oriented, pragmatic, and stress-resistant, you adapt easily to unexpected, urgent situations.
- Finally, you are fluent in Dutch and English.
