For our site in Genk, we are looking for a Senior Specialist Finance Projects.

YOUR CHALLENGES

As Senior Specialist Finance Projects, you focus on integrating acquisitions on the one hand, and continuous improvement on the other. This in terms of processes, systems, software and working methods.

As project owner, you are responsible for the autonomous development and follow-up of your projects from A to Z.

More specifically, what do you do?

  • Your accounting knowledge enables you to analyze and subsequently optimize (financial) business processes.
  • Using your analytically critical eye, you scrutinize the accounting and reporting processes and know how to translate these insights into concrete advice and actions.
  • You also ensure the correct and smooth course of implementations within our current and future organizational structure.
  • You will also help direct the maintenance and further expansion of H.Essers’ financial application landscape at home and abroad.
  • As an expert in the field, you act as a point of contact for our users and offer support where necessary.
  • From your position, you identify synergies between the various international entities. To this end, you work closely with the management teams within the group.
  • You report directly to the Team Manager Finance Integrations.

YOUR TALENTS

  • You have a Master’s level of thinking and at least four years of accounting experience.
  • Your analytical critical eye and strong project management skills ensure that every optimization and implementation runs smoothly.
  • You are constantly looking for additional information and new insights. You are capable of analyzing and processing these in a short space of time.
  • In order to convey this complex matter in a clear manner to non-specialists within the organization, you have strong communication skills.
  • Finally, you stay up-to-date on global accounting principles in order to continue to provide the right interpretations to system optimizations.
